Based in Singapore, Rigg Dennis Ngo began his career in the industry as a freelance photography assistant, later refining his craft through professional training and hands-on experience with one of Singapore’s leading photography assistance companies. This foundation exposed him to a wide range of still-life, fashion, and commercial productions, where he developed strong technical and creative problem-solving skills across both studio and location environments.

With over a decade of professional industry experience, Rigg has built deep expertise in lighting design, creative light shaping, camera systems, tethered workflows, and post-production digital imaging. His practice spans art documentation, product and still-life photography, event photography, and commercial campaigns, with a focus on clean execution, visual consistency, and reliability on set.

Rigg is a Gold Award recipient at Singapore’s Crowbar Awards, recognised for creative excellence across both academic and professional categories. He continues to expand his practice by experimenting with new technical workflows and creative approaches, balancing precision with visual intent.

As an assistant, Rigg has supported a diverse range of local and international photographers, including Mario Sorrenti on the Emporio Armani Spring 2020 campaign. His client and project experience includes collaborations with government bodies such as MCI and Singapore Tourism Board, as well as multinational brands including Grab, Shiseido, and McDonald’s.

Today, Rigg runs RiggNgo Photos, providing end-to-end photography services while continuing to collaborate closely with agencies, brands, galleries, and production teams across Southeast Asia.
